In order to obtain more information about our products and services, it is our policy at Interconnect Cafe that personal information, such as your name, personal postal and email address, or personal telephone number is private and confidential. Because your privacy is important to us, we at  Interconnect Cafe maintain privacy policies to protect your personal information. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. 

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collected at Interconnect Cafe. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website. 


By using our website, you hereby consent to this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service, and Community Guidelines, with respect to registration with us and the use of the Website, Products and/or Services.


You are required to read these terms carefully before using/availing our Website and Services. By using our website, You (consenting adult or guardian and by extension, your child/ward) agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines in entirety, which are co-terminus with each other for the purposes of applicability and interpretation. 


Every user of our Application/Services/Products/Website must be in a position to provide an informed consent as an adult, and on behalf of your ward/appointee/child, prior to providing any Information required for the use of the Application/Services/products/Website. By registering with us and/or signing up for a Networking Cafe Session, you are expressly consenting to our collection, processing, storing, disclosing, and handling of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. 

Processing your information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining, sharing, transferring and/or disclosing information, all of such activities will take place in India. If you reside outside India your information will be transferred, processed, and stored in accordance with the applicable data protection laws of India. You agree to be bound by these statements without any variation or disagreements at any point in time. 


Information we collect

  • We will ask you to provide certain personal information, and the reasons supporting disclosure of such personal information, which will be clarified to you at the time of submission of such personal information by you to us. 

  • When you register for a Networking Cafe Session / Membership Area, we ask for your contact information, including without limit of items such as profile picture, name, school name, address, email address, home country, social media handles and telephone number (including that of the consenting adult and of your ward/your child.)

  • If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

  • We will be maintaining a seven calendar day recorded video and audio history of every Networking Cafe Session we conduct for safety and security purposes only and we will erase this past the seven-day mark.  We do this with the sole intent to maintain or regulate safety and solely for security purposes and we will erase these recorded sessions past the seven-day mark. 

  • Information collected through third-party analytics software, and other cookie collecting softwares like Google Analytics. Details to this, can be found in our Cookie Policy

  • We do not directly collect your Credit/Debit Card Information. All such collection is done by our third-party service provider (i.e.Stripe). We do not take responsibility for the way they collect/store your information. Please read their terms of service & privacy policy carefully before consenting or conducting any payments. This may be applicable under the Membership Area of our Website/App.


How we use your information

Our primary goal in collecting your Personal information or Usage Information is to provide you with an enhanced experience when using the Services/Products.   

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our website

  • Improve, personalize, and expand our website

  • Understand and analyze how you use our website

  • Develop new products, services, features, and functionality

    • We do not sell/market your personal data to advertisers, sponsors, and/or partners and we do not share information that directly identifies you (such as your name, email address and/or other contact information) with sponsors/partners unless you give us specific permission. Instead, advertisers can tell us things such as the kind (country, average age, gender, etc.) of the audience that they want to appear in front of and their business goals, and this does not involve any personal or direct identifiers of the participants/members of this community. 

    • We also provide advertisers/sponsors with reports about the performance of sponsored sessions, or speaker sessions with us. This information could be collected through polls or surveys we conduct with the participants on a networking cafe session and/or via email, and through preferences of usage.  

  • For purposes disclosed at the time you provide your information or as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy.

  • Such other purposes that we think to be expedient in the interest of maintaining a quality experience for use of our Services. 


Log Files

Interconnect Cafe follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.


Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, Interconnect Cafe uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information. Advertising Partners Privacy Policies

Interconnect Cafe's Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Interconnect Cafe, which are sent directly to users' browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Note that Interconnect Cafe has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

We do not charge you (and/or the participating young adult) to use Interconnect Cafe's Networking Cafe Sessions. We work in collaboration with partners that recognize our objective, and as an extension of our network, we may be paid by such reciprocating businesses and/or organizations by sponsoring a session, partnering with us and/or by booking a speaker slot during our networking cafe sessions, and reporting performances to them. 


You and by extension, your child/ward/appointee agree to be shown sponsored content and/or partnered advertisements, send promotional emails and/or Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including but not limited to marketing and promotional information.

Third-Party Privacy Policies

Interconnect Cafe's Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.

Interconnect Cafe's Privacy Policy does not apply to third party user software. Thus, we strongly advise you to read, and understand the User Terms/Privacy Policy of such third party software at present and such other third party softwares that We may use in the future (details of which will be communicated to you from time to time), to know your rights/obligations. 

We shall not be responsible nor liable for non-compliance of such third party user terms/privacy policies by You or your wards, and You undertake to stand compliant to such third party user terms/privacy policies without any claims or liabilities to Us at Interconnect Cafe. You acknowledge and confirm that You are bound by terms/policies of such third party software at present and such other third party softwares that We may use in the future (details of which will be communicated to you from time to time).
